Open Edition Prints

The photographs exhibited here are available for purchase in a variety of formats. Photographs may be purchased either as open edition prints or as digital downloads.

Open Edition prints are available in a variety of sizes and media types. Prints are sized from a minimum size of 4″ x 4″ up to a maximum size of 20″ x 36″. Prints are also available on a variety of media.

Premium Prints are created using Noritsu and Chromira printers and are printed on either professional Kodak Endura Glossy or Kodak Endura Lustre photo papers. The difference between these two papers is in the nature of their finish. Kodak Endura Glossy has a shiny finish that offers rich, vibrant colors. Kodak Endura Lustre has a matte finish. It features the same degree of color saturation as does the Glossy paper but without the extra glare.

Fine Art Prints are created using either Epson Cold Press Bright Textured Matte or Epson Hot Press Bright Smooth Matte Paper. Epson Cold Press Bright Textured Matte Paper is a 500gsm, acid free, 100% cotton rag paper with a bright textured finish. Epson Hot Press Bright Smooth Matte Paper is also a 500gsm, acid free, 100% cotton rag media with a bright textured finish. Both papers have a high Dmax and wide color gamut, making them excellent choices for photos being printed on fine art paper rather than photographic paper.

Fine Art Giclée Canvas Gallery Wraps are created using museum quality canvas and high quality archival inks. The canvas is wrapped over a 1.5″ thick stretcher-bar frame. Canvas wraps are shipped ready to hang. When ordering a canvas gallery wrap there are three printing options available for the wrapped edges of the frame. The first option, which I find to be the most aesthetically pleasing, is to wrap the photograph around the edge of the frame – seamlessly merging the frame edge with the main image. The second option is to print the edges as solid black and the third option is to print the edges as solid white.

Print order fulfillment is handled by Fotomoto, a subsidiary of Bay Photo.
